Storytelling is my passion, while the format varies (words, stills, moving images) the soul of it remains the same. At the core of content creation is storytelling, whether that is for a fictional work or branded social media. It is in our very nature to connect through stories. Horror is my forte and I started HorrorGirlProblems to celebrate the genre I love, while also focusing the lens on often underrepresented voices within horror including but not limited to- women, BIPOC, LGBTQ+. The blog has since branched out to include a podcast and this has also led to some wonderful opportunities to interview some of the most respected folks in horror, along with the opportunity to moderate and host virtual panels for Fangoria Magazine. In short, I get to talk to interesting people about the most interesting of all topics to me – horror movies.
Over the years I’ve also had the opportunity to work as a music journalist, shooting and writing about some of my favorite musicians for online publications as well as content creation for various social media campaigns.
